An introduction to Italian sculpture

For the fourth edition of this introduction to Italian sculpture, the author has thoroughly revised the text, notes and bibliographies, incorporating all the significant new research and publications since the last major revision in 1970-2. Volume I covers the period from about 1150 to 1400. The sculptors dealt with include Nicola and Giovanni Pisano, Arnolfo di Cambio, Andrea and Nino Pisano, Lorenzo Ghiberti and Jacopo della Quercia.
