Acadia's Hockey Axemen

Acadia's Hockey Axemen is a soft-covered 274 page history of Acadia University's intercollegiate hockey team. It contains 47 black and white and colored picture pages of teams, individuals and action shots. The opening chapters relate the early history of the university and briefly describes the introduction to the campus of such sports as rugby, tennis, gymnastics and baseball. It begins the history of hockey at Acadia in the early 1890s and subsequently presents a chronological history of the intercollegiate sport up to and including the playoffs of the 2011-12 season.Highlights of the Axemen's on-ice heroics include their Canadian Intercollegiate championships of 1992-93 and 1995-96.
