A Room in Chelsea Square

From inside front cover: Nicholas Milestone, a young reporter on a provincial newspaper, has attracted the notice of Patrick, a man of means and influence. He introduces Nicholas into the world of smart Bohemia in London ... In such a milieu Nicholas is not at all at ease and in trying to adapt himself finds that his conscience is in conflict with his love of money.
