A bibliography of ship passenger lists, 1538-1825

The emphasis in this compilation is to provide genealogists, historians, and students of immigration with a useful guide to widely scattered and little-known material. Efforts have been made to sort out, transcribe, and print from such old original records, diaries, log books, etc., lists of early emigrants. This bibliography is an attempt to bring together a list of these printed sources and to put it into a convenient and usable form.
