William H. Keith (born August 8, 1950) is an American author mainly contributing to military science fiction and military fiction and related game design, who writes also under several pen names, such as Ian Douglas, Robert Cain and H. Jay Riker. His newer original works are written under the name of Ian Douglas.

This is a walkthrough, hints, tips, and solutions book for the video game "Riven". There are puzzle by puzzle solutions to each of the games mysteries. It is written in a journal type way from the point of view of the character. The story is that of a person uses a book to be transported to a world known as 'Riven', however the player ends up in prison and must escape and find out what is happening and how to stop it. There are many gray-scale screenshots, maps of the various islands, and greenish-blue illustrations of animals on many of the books pages. Besides the guided walkthrough there is also a section on 'The Solutions' to the puzzles located throughout the game. After this there is a quick step by step section that tells what the player needs to do to accomplish all the events in the game.
