Richard Garrett was an English author. He joined the British Army in 1939, and he served in several campaigns until 1943, when he was taken prisoner. He was initially held by the Italian army in Capua, and later in Oflag Va, Weinsberg. He was moved to Moosburg, which was liberated by American troops in 1945. After the war, he founded a company that produced magazines for large corporations. He has wrote forty-five books.
