Prima Games is a division of "Prima Publishing" which was a small publisher working out of a residential-style home office in Roseville, California. Prima Games began as a series of game tip books, when in 1990 its owner, Ben Dominitz, contracted with author Rusel DeMaria to create a video game strategy guide imprint, initially called "The Secrets of the Games". At the time, DeMaria was senior editor for PC Games magazine and on the staff of GamePro. The initial contract called for five books - the first ones being Nintendo Games Secrets, Sega Genesis Games Secrets, Turbografx Games Secrets, GameBoy Games Secrets and The Official Lucasfilm Games Air Combat Strategies Book. {--Source: Wikipedia} It went on to release other series such as "Game Buster: Get a Clue", but eventually adopted the 'Prima Games' logo for their products. It's first bestseller was "Myst: The Official Strategy Guide", which sold in excess of 1.25 million copies. It is currently owned by Random House. On titles that don't have a main author, or are authored by many people the collective 'Prima Games' is often used as Author.

GEHN'S BOOTPRINTS LAY HEAVY AROUND the tiny pool, the lush, well-tended green churned to mud.

This is a listing of video game cheat codes for use with the GameShark cheat code devise. The codes in this series of books are new codes that weren't preloaded in earlier versions of the GameShark and would need to be entered by the player. Prima Games would release these official 'GameShark' codes from 1997-2002, for a total of 11 Editions, (some of which would have exclusive store front covers), before BradyGames would later begin publishing their own series of official 'GameShark' codes in 2003.
