Peter McCurtin was born in Ireland and migrated to the USA in his late twenties. He was an author of detective, crime, and western novels. His book, 'Mafioso' was nominated for Edgar-Allan-Poe award for best original paperback in 1971.

HIS NAME WAS RAMBO, and he was just some nothing kid for all anybody knew, standing by the pump of a gas station at the outskirts of Madison, Kentucky.
