Peter Benoit is a graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. His degree is in mathematics. He is the author of dozens of books with Children's Press and has written on topics as diverse as Native Americans, ecosystems, disasters, American history, and ancient civilizations. Peter has also written more than 2,000 poems. He lives in Greenwich, New York.
