The Acts Of The Apostles
The Revelation
Things were already really weird. Fighting aliens. Battling to have Earth. And still trying to be normal. Marco, the other Animorphs, and Ax are almost used to it. But things are changing. The Yeerk invasion of Earth started out passively. Secretly. But now, everything seems to be stepped up. Even Marco's father is talking about some top secret project at his job. Something about developing Zero-space... Marco doesn't even know whether his father is a Controller. But he does know he's not going to let the Yeerks win this one. They've already got his mother. And Marco will do anything it takes to save his father. Anything...
The Gospel of Matthew
The book of Genesis
This is a book of history, and its narratives are of such importance that without them it would be difficult to understand the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. These narratives are records of unique and initial events, of beginnings and origins, so that the book is properly named Genesis, which is a Greek word meaning "origin." The book opens with the story of creation (1:1 to 2:3). This is followed by a sketch of human history down to the birth of Abraham (2:4 to 11:26). The remaining and main portion of the book presents the lives of the four patriarchs from whose family came the people of Israel and ultimately the Saviour of the world. - Introduction.
The Unfinished Symphony
Franz Schubert wrote only two parts of his symphony, a great Allegro and a second charming movement. Death claimed him and he was unable to write the Finale. He could not finish it and hence his great work is known as The Unfinished Symphony. But there is another Symphony, with a greater theme than an earthly composer has ever noted down. That symphony is the symphony of God's redemption. The great theme of it originated with God in eternity. Before the foundation of the world the great omniscient composer mapped out each part of His symphony, in which He would sound forth the sweet music of His love towards a lost world and in which He would display the marvels of the riches of His grace and power. Creation is a great symphony of God, but redemption is far greater. But like Schubert's symphony God's Symphony is also unfinished. The great Finale has not yet been heard, but unlike Schubert who cannot furnish the Finale, God will produce in a glorious consummation the great Finale of His redemption, when heaven and earth will vibrate with a great and never ending Hallelujah chorus. - p. 1-2.
Will There Be a Millennium? When and How?
The emphasis of the New Testament is upon looking for the personal return of our blessed Lord. It allows no room for a Millennium preceding His coming. A former student of mine put it very well when he said that a student of the Old Testament might be a premillennialist, or conceivably a postmillennialist, but that the Old Testament utterly excludes amillennialism; while a student of the New Testament might be a premillennialist, or conceivably an amillennialist, but that the New Testament definitely excludes postmillennialism. - Foreword.
