Bolstered by his new allies and with his country having no faith in eventually winning against Napoleon in the peninsular war, 1807-1814, Sharpe and his elite riflemen with the partisans help plan an ambitious mission to give Spain hope and snatch victory from disaster, which is borderline crazy but could work..
