Description
Douglas Arthur Hill was a science fiction author, editor and reviewer. Hall was born in Brandon, Manitoba, and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He was a science fiction fan from an early age. He received his B.A. in English from the University of Saskatchewan. In 1959, he moved to Britain, where he worked as a freelance writer and editor for Aldus Books. Hall wrote many books on history, science, and folklore before turning to write fiction full-time in 1978. He edited anthologies under the pseudonym "Martin Hillman."
