For Claire Wyndham it was the time to choose: life in the convent where she had been brought up, or life in the real world, with its challenges, its dangerous temptations. Scott Carver epitomized all those dangers for her. She saw him as a playboy, a reckless traveler of the world, a despoiler of hearts - and the man to whom she had given hers. Now, no matter what choice she made, no matter in which world she chose to live, that heart would never be her own again.
